General overview: The largest man made harbour in the world, consisting of 77 berths with a large industrial development including aluminium, gas and cement facilities.
The merger and relocating with Port Rashid also brought a large increase in container handling.
Facilities exist to accommodate Ro-Ro's, container ships, bulk vessels, general cargo vessels and tankers. Offshore island Container Terminal 3 is under construction and the west quay redevelopment is underway .
Traffic figures: The combined figures for Jebel Ali and Port Rashid are as follows, approx 14,041 vessels, 77,380,000t of cargo including 11,000,000TEU are handled annually.
Load line zone: Tropical.
Max size: LOA 414m, 545,000DWT, max dredged depth 17m.
Container berth Nos 71 - 77: Draught 15.5m, 14,000TEU vessels.
Tanker berths: LOA 295m, draught 14.0m.
LNG vessels: 77,500-217,000m³.

Loading / Discharging: Permited Only for Direct Shipment/Delivery.
Hot work / M / E Immobilization is not permitted on board.
Transhipment not allowed. Permitted only subject to remain in Idle position onboard while Ship stay in port.
