General Description
Location: Fujairah is situated on the E coast of the United Arab Emirates. General overview: The port offers facilities for general and dry bulk cargo, tankers, container vessels, and cruise ships. It is one of the main ports in the area serving India, East Africa, and the Gulf. It is also a major bunkering and servicing port with a large anchorage area for tankers awaiting orders, maximum stay 21 days and STS transfers.
The Vopak Horizon Terminal, 2km N, handles import and export oil products. Traffic figures: Approx 19,900,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: Fujairah Harbour: Dry Bulk: LOA 300m, draught 13.5m, 100,000DWT. Fujairah Oil Terminal 2: LOA 330m, draught 16.5m, 230,000t displacement. Vopak ENOC Terminal: Berth No 1: LOA 295m, draught 15.5m, 145,000DWT. VHFL SBM: LOA 300m, draught 21.5m, 175,000DWT.

Loading / discharging is possible on direct delivery, apart from it, also requires Ministry of Defense or Ministry of Interior approvals depending
on whom the container is coming or shipped for.Transhipment not allowed. Transit is possible subject to No objection from HM.
