Location: Vopak Terminal Europoort is situated in port of Rotterdam, which itself is located in the middle of the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta.
General overview: Vopak Terminal Europoort is part of Vopak Energy Terminals Netherlands, which is a large scale independent oil hub terminal in the Port of Rotterdam with VLCC access to handle crude and the full spectrum of petroleum products. Vopak Terminal Europoort B.v. consists of 19 berths which accomodate mostly crude oil tankers and inland motor tankers. Vopak tank terminals are used for storage of petrochemicals and fuels.
Traffic figures: Approx. 4,000,000 cbm of crude oil and refined products are transported annually.
Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.
