Traffic figures: Approx 550 vessels and 700,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Max LOA 120m, 5,000DWT, subject to max beam of 16.0m and 6.0m draught. Larger vessels can be accommodated with prior consent of the Harbour Master. Max lock dimensions: Length 88m, width 13.6m and depth over sill 5.5m.
