Location: Bourgas on the W coast of the Black Sea approx. 105nm NNW of Istanbul.
General overview: The Port of Bourgas is the 2nd largest port in Bulgaria. It consists of two main parts: Port of Bourgas, operated by the same company and the Oil Harbour 3.5nm SE'ly, operated by Lukoil Nefochim. It has 33 berths There is also a seasonal passenger port in Nessebar, operated also by Port of Bourgas.
Traffic figures: Approx. 1,329 vessels, 6,771,000t of cargo, 25,936TEU and 10,000 passengers handled annually.
