General overview: The private offshore terminal owned by Ecopetrol is situated NW of Puerto Covenas, (09° 25'N 075°41'W). The tanker terminal is used for exporting crude oil and consists of 3 SPM's or Tanker loading units (TLU's) and a service pier. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: SPM: LOA 320m, draught 17.3m, 160,000DWT. Service Pier: LOA 250m, draught 7.0m.
