General Description

Location: Papenburg is situated 25nm above Emden on the River Ems. General overview: The port opens onto the Sielkanal via two entrance locks, the Seesschleuse lock 154 m in length and 26 m in width, for general use, and very large vessels, with up to 43m beam can enter the harbour by the shipyard Dockschlease lock, width 46 m.
