Location: Hook of Holland port is situated on the New Waterway (Nieuwe Waterweg) opposite Harwich in England, 30 km away from Rotterdam, 20 km far from Hague and 85 km away from Amsterdam.
General overview: Hook of Holland is a sub port of Rotterdam. It is a mainly ferry port and serves the passenger crossing through English Channel due to its convenient location. Stena Line provides ferry service between the Hook of Holland and Harwich, Essex, England. This is the only passenger ferry route into and out of the Hook of Holland, and normally, crossings operate four times a day.
