Location: Laboe is located on the NE Baltic coast of Germany, approx 6nm NNE of Kiel. Laboe is located directly at the exit of the Bay of Kiel in northern Schleswig-Holstein. General overview: A small fishing harbour with a yacht harbour and a small shipyard. Marina Baltic Bay offers an outer harbor with a water depth of 4 m below sea level, the total of 345 berths are connected by a pier area of 280 meters. The shipyard is located at the area of 12,000 sqm. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Controlling depth: 2.5 m, 500 DWT. The largest vessel called at the marina: LOA: 60 m, draught: 2.9 m, deadweight: 240 DWT.
