General Description
Location: Jebel Dhanna/Ruwais, which encompasses the industrial complex of Ruwais, is situated on the Persian Gulf coast approx 220km W of Abu Dhabi.
General overview: Offshore facilities, consisting of three SPMs handling exports of crude oil. The terminal is operated by ADNOC Onshore. The port area consists of two main oil terminals, handling crude oil and products for the refinery, a gas terminal, a bulk fertiliser terminal, a sulphur handling jetty and a small cargo harbour. Operations can be carried out throughout 24 hours on all terminals. Sir Bani Yas Port, on Bani Island, close N of Jebel Dhanna has recently opened as a multipurpose logistics port and tourist destination.
