General Description
Location: BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) Terminal Ceyhan (also known as Haydar Aliyev Marine Terminal) is situated on the S coast of Turkey, in Iskenderun Bay. General overview: The terminal loads crude oil vessels with products from Azerbaijan oil fields, via Georgia through a 1,776km pipeline, of which approx 1,076km runs through Turkey. The terminal consists of two berths located on a steel and concrete jetty approx 2.5km long. Max size: LOA 350m, draught 24.0m, 300,000DWT. Double hulled, SBT and VECS vessels only, re-measured vessels not accepted. Largest vessel handled: "La Prudencia", 300,000DWT.
