Assan Port İskenderun is also the closest terminal to Northern Iraq, and therefore its closest outlet to the West. ASSAN PORT, whose main field of activity is container loading and unloading, provides general cargo and project cargo loading and unloading services, as well as storage services in bonded-duty-free and open-closed areas for its customers' containerized cargoes. ASSAN PORT offers a total of 700 meters of berthing and operation opportunities on both sides at the same time, with a pier up to 175,000 DWT and a width of 45 meters. ASSAN PORT is the port with the highest water depth on our Mediterranean coasts, with a water depth starting from 16.5 meters. Port Can offer warehouse service, there is no covered warehouse space, however they rented some warehouse from 3rd parties. They can offer 2 different 5000 sqm covered warehouse space. If we import some cargoes in containers, we can keep commodities in containers as per free time agreement without using warehouse.
