Location: The port of Toros is located on the N coast of Iskenderun Bay. General overview: Toros is a multipurpose deep water marine terminal with storage and bagging services for coal, petroleum coke, clinker, pumice stone, cement, chrome, fertilisers, grain and feed grains, edible oils, petroleum products, chemicals, acids and ammonia. Break bulk cargo includes bagged products, crated products, containers and Ro-Ro operation. Vessels are accommodated depending on their size and cargo type at 8 berths alongside 2 jetties. Traffic figures: Approx 4,000,000t of cargo and 325 vessels handled annually. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: Dry bulk: Draught 13.5m, 100,000DWT. Tankers: Max draught 11.1m, 40,000DWT.
