General Description
MMK Port is one of the largest ports in Turkey serving the private sector. Due to its proximity to large industrial and commercial organizations in the region, it provides advantages in transportation, which makes it very preferable. Our port carries out the loading and unloading processes for ships up to 100,000 tonnes.
MMK Metalurji port includes 8 berthing ports and it facilitates the export and import activities of many industrial zones, including the ones in Adana, Osmaniye, and Gaziantep. The port is active and in-service 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
The length of the harbor dock is 1800 meters. Its sea depth is more than 15 meters. This allows 12 ships up to 100,000 DWT berth at the same time. Dimensions of the Dock: Dock No: 4 is used for RO-RO vessels (horizontal cargo handling vessels). There is a loading ramp on the east side of the quay. MMK Metalurji Port is 1 km away from the (E-5) Motorway and 6 km away from the Highway. It is at a distance of 12 km to Iskenderun Organized Industrial Zone and 30 km to Osmaniye Organized Industrial Zone. In addition to the advantages of its location, MMK Port provides handling services to all types of general cargo, bulk dry cargo, project cargo, and Ro-Ro vessels.

The port offers the following services: All docks have clean water (drinking water). Refuelling is permitted only from tankers and petrol tankers. Waste collection from ships is carried out daily. There are no liquid waste reservoirs in the port, therefore, the shipment of these wastes is carried out by other companies. There is a VHF radio receiver constantly active in the port.
