General Description
Location: Vassiliko port is located on the S coast of Cyprus 15nm ENE of Limassol. General overview: The port is a small industrial harbour which falls under the control of the Cyprus Ports Authority and is operated by the Vassiliko Cement Works Ltd. The port mainly handles exports of clinker, cement, gypsum, imports include coal, chemicals and petcoke. Traffic figures: Approx 270 vessels and 435,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: Max draught 8.5m. Largest vessel handled: "Jedda Cement II", 41,094DWT, LOA 184m, beam 27.6m.
