General Description
Location: Lach Huyen is situated in the north of the country, 120 km. east of Ha Noi, at the mouth of the Cua Cam River, adjacent to Dinh Vu Industrial Zone (DVIZ), and 10.0 n.m. ESE of Hai Phong.
General overview: Lach Huyen is a sub port of Haiphong. It is a new container terminal which commenced operation May 2018. It handles primarily containers breakbulk and cruise vessels. Lach Huyen international port (HICT) - Hai Phong includes 2 container terminals with a total length of 750 m to receive container vessels and general ships with a tonnage of 100,000 DWT, full-loaded berths; 150 m-long barge berths to receive ships and container barges of up to 160 tons, cargo output through the port from 1.05 to 1.1 million Tons/year.
