Location: Ciwandan is situated on the W coast of Java in the Province of Banten, 0.5nm SW of Cigading Ore Jetty. General overview: Ciwandan is a deep water general purpose port, serving as an overflow port for Tanjung Priok, consisting of a general purpose berth, coal berths and a tanker berth. The general purpose berth is currently operated by Portek and is known as Banten Port. Traffic figures: Approx 335 vessels visit the port and cargo throughput totals 2,150,000t annually. Max size: LOA 220m, draught 12.0m, 65,000DWT.
