General Description
Location: The Port of Police is situated on the western bank of the Rzeka Odra, 15km north of Szczecin.
General overview: The Port of Police is a river port mainly used by Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne "POLICE" SA, a chemical works company that operates specialized port facilities nearby.
The port handles about 2 million tons of cargo annually, mainly consisting of bulk goods such as rock phosphate, fertilizers, ammonia, sulfuric acid, and titanium white.
It has four transshipment terminals and includes the Morski, Barkowy, Mijanka and Jasienica located 1km south of the Sea Port. The Police Sea Port is the fourth-largest port in Poland in terms of transshipped cargo volume.
