General overview: The privately owned port consisting of N and S basins has dry and wet facilities, tankers loading from the Milstrand Oil Terminal. Navigation is all year round. Traffic figures: Approx 2,000,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Seasonal Area for ships of 100m or less in length, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Permitted tankers: LOA 195m, beam 32m, draught 12.3m. Dry cargo vessels: LOA 110m, beam 20m, draught 5.6m.
