Location: Norrkoping is approx 60nm SW of Stockholm.
General overview: Norrkoping is an important centre for sea, air, road and rail transport. The port of Norrkoping offers well developed resources and systems for shipping, air freight, road and rail services. It is a safe, well sheltered harbour with good anchorage and is well developed with extensive modern equipment to handle all types of traffic and cargo, including bulk, liquid, container, Ro-Ro and general goods.
Cargo handling is in two main areas, the Inner Harbour and the Pampus Terminal, there are also facilities at Djuron Harbour and Braviken Bay.
Exports: Paper, wood pulp, grain, piece goods and timber products.
Imports: Fertiliser, coal, coke, bulk oils and piece goods.
The port offers a total of 5,500m of quays with water depths ranging from 5.0-12.4m at the quays.
Traffic figures: Approx 1,000 vessels and 4,300,000t of cargo handled annually.
Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.

Pampus Terminal: LOA 260m, beam 33m, draught 12.4m, 80,000DWT.
Inner Port: LOA 190m, beam 23m (or 180m x 24m or 170m x 25m), draught 9.0m, 35,000DWT.
IMO Cargo can be handled at Öhmansterminalen. When handling Class 1, there is a requirement of hired guard during handling. If the goods are to be temporarily stored at the terminal, a guard must be present during the entire storage period.
