General Description
Location: Kalundborg is situated at the head of a sheltered inlet in Kalundborgfjord, on the W coast of Sjaelland. General overview: The principal exports are super phosphates, grain and oil products, imports include phosphate, pyrites, potash, coal and coke, feed stuffs and crude oil. Tanker, cruise, ferry and Ro-Ro facilities are also available at the port. Traffic figures: Approx 3,100 vessels and 3,536,300t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 300m, beam 35m, draught 11.5m. Dock Port: LOA 140m, beam 20m, draught 9.5m. Statoil Jetty E: LOA 270m, draught 14.2m.
