General Description
Location: Gedser is located at the southern end of Falster Island, in the SE part of Denmark. General overview: Gedser Harbour is the terminal for the ferry between Falster and Germany. The harbour is formed by 2 breakwaters with an entrance width of 100m, facing S between their heads, marked by lights. The fishing harbour is a small basin situated in the E part of the harbour. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.
