Location: Fakse Ladeplads is located on the SE coast of the island of Sjaelland, on the N coast of Fakse Bay. General overview: Vessel traffic is mainly concentrated in the summer and autumn. The Harbour is owned by Faxe Chalk Quarry and cargoes handled are mainly limestone, grain and stone. Traffic figures: Approx 150 vessels and 120,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Max LOA 100m; beam 20m; draught 4.0m. Largest vessels handled: "Baltysky", 1,800DWT, LOA 96m, beam 13m and draught 3.6m. "Volgobal", 2,200DWT, LOA 82m, beam 14m and draught 4.1m. Shelterdeck vessel, 2,600DWT, LOA 94m, beam 13m and draught 4.2m.
