Location: Rio de Janeiro is situated on the S and W part of Guanabara Bay.
General overview: The Port of Rio de Janeiro is operated by Companhia Docas do Rio de Janeiro, it is considered the 3rd busiest port in Brazil. It consists of 31 berths in a 6.7 km quay. The port comprises the Ilhe de Cobras naval base, the commercial port and various oil terminals in the bay.
