General Description
Location: Ras Shukheir is situated on the western shore of the Gulf of Suez.
General overview: Ras Shukheir is an offshore oil loading terminal operated by GUPCO, comprising three sea berths loading crude oil and LPG. Vessels approach from the E and if required to anchor, do so in the designated anchorage area to the SE of the berths. Submarine pipelines to the N prohibit anchoring elsewhere.

- No.1 Sea Berth can accommodate vessels up to 350m LOA // Draft 25.6m (Loading rate 55,000 bbls/h) barrel oil per hour
- No.2 Sea Berth can accommodate vessels up to 305m LOA // Draft 27.4m (Loading rate 51,000 bbls/h) barrel oil per hour
