The shipping platform

Location: Barcadera harbour is located 5km SE of Oranjestad on the island of Aruba. General overview: The port has 350m of docking space and handles all non-containerised cargo, break bulk, Ro-Ro, aggregates, LPG and gasoline. The harbour is approx 610m in length, with a width of 300m. Traffic figures: Approx 160 vessels are handled annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: Max LOA 230m; draught 9.75m. Vessels with LOA greater than 125m may only berth during daylight. In exceptional circumstances vessels up to 245m may be handled.
