Location: Angra dos Reis is situated in the Ilha Grande Bay, approx 70nm W of Rio de Janeiro.
General overview: The port, which is under Rio de Janeiro port authority, has a number of berths on a single dock, used primarily for granite and wheat cargoes. The port exports steel products and imports breakbulk and grain.
Traffic figures: Approx 320 vessels visit the port annually.
