Location: The Port of Himeji is situated on the coast of Seto Inland Sea, in Hyogo Prefecture, approx. 60km W of Kobe.
General overview: The Port of Himeji is of major importance for the local and Japan's economy. The principal cargoes handled are crude oil, LNG, construction materials, steel, timber, chemicals, ores and coal.
