General Description
Location: Bangpakong is situated in the western part of Chachoengsao Province in the NE corner of Gulf of Thailand. The port area is situated at the mouth of the Bangpakong River, and straight line distance from central Bangkok approx. 60 km.
General overview: Bnagpakong is a multipurpose river port area with numerous private facilities. Main cargo types handled include dry and liquid (including LPG), breakbulk, containerised and manufactured steel and heavy-lift products. The port consist of a jetty of 320 meters in length, with a capability of berthing in line; 4, / 2500 tons lighter or 2 / 10,000 tons barge. The port has heavy equipment for product loading and discharging with a capacity of 13,500 tons per day. 8 Warehouses with a storage area of 85,000 square meters, stockyard with a storage area of 10,000 square meters and 96 Silos with a storage capacity of over 43,000 tons are available.
