Location: Stenungsund is located on the E side of Askero Fjorden approx 25nm N of Gothenburg. General overview: The port is mainly for tankers with 2 terminals, Vattenfalls Harbour (Power Board) Terminal and Statoil Havden (Borealis) Terminal used for the import of fuel oil, naphtha, ethylene and propane and the export of solvents and LPG. There are also berths at Hydroplast jetty and Talluoden Terminal. Traffic figures: Approx 300 vessels and 1,500,000t of cargo handled annually.
