General Description
Location: The Slagen Marine Terminal is situated on the west bank of the Oslofjord about 5NM south of Horten.
General overview: The Slagen Marine Terminal, owned and controlled by Esso Norge AS, features a 500-meter-long pier with loading/discharging berths on both sides, as well as a small harbor to the south that houses mooring boats and oil recovery equipment.
The terminal is staffed with Marine Supervisors 24 hours a day, and the nearby refinery processes North Sea crude oil into LPG, white and black oil products, and sulfur-free diesel.
