General Description
Location: The Port of Moss is situated in Viken county, on the eastern coast of Oslo Fjord.
General overview: The Port of Moss comprises two areas separated by an isthmus that connects Jeloya to the mainland. The two sections are linked by a canal that is 4.4 meters deep and 11.2 meters wide.
The port's two parts are Verle Bay, located in the southern section, and Mossesundet, located in the northern section.
The port's operations include handling containers, steel, bulk, general cargo, Ro-Ro traffic, and passengers. The port's exports consist of cellulose and paper, while imports include corn, food, steel, liquid chemicals, glass, sand, and other raw materials.
