Location: The Port of Omaezaki is situated on the southern coast of Honshu Island, located at the entrance of Suruga Bay, in the Shizuoka Prefecture. During the winter months, the port becomes especially valuable for ships that are unable to navigate the western route through Enshu Nada. The port is undergoing development as a timber and industrial hub, serving as a logistics center for a diverse range of goods including general cargo, raw materials, and scrap metal. The fishing harbor of Zitogata Gyoko is situated in the northwestern region of the port complex.
