General Description
Location: Port of Budai is located on the Taiwan Strait about 59 nautical miles (89 kilometers) N of the Port of Kaohsiung and about 36 nautical miles (almost 65 kilometers) from the Magong Port in Punhu Harbor on Penghu Island.
General overview: Budai Harbour is a subport of Kaohsiung. Its main function is to provide services for the domestic shipping routes of Penghu and Kinmen. The port area is 206.16 hectares, 100.01 hectares of which is water area and 106.15 hectares of land area. Budai Port has five wharves, three for general cargo and two for bulk cargo. It also has two cement silos, each with capacity for 700 tons.
