Location: Wolgast is on the Peenestrom which leads to the Baltic Sea and runs 40km between the mainland and the Isle of Usedom, NE Germany.
General overview: The seaport complemented by the Peene Shipyard and 5 industrial estates is the largest freight harbour E of Rostock. Wolgast consists of 2 harbours and mainly tranships cereals fertilisers, wood, lime and agricultural products. The port consists of 6 berths with the total quay length of 900 m.
Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Seasonal Area for ships of 100m or less in length, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.
Max size: Draught: 6.5 m.
