General Description
Location: St Malo is located on the NW coast of France, at the mouth of the Rance on the north coast of Brittany.
General overview: The port consists of Bassin Vauban, Bassin Jacques Cartier, Bassin Duguay, Bassin Bouvet and outer port. Inner port is entered through the Naye Lock. Products handled include petroleum, Ro-Ro, grain, general cargo and fish. The port possesses over 4,448m of quayage. The port's marina areas provide 2,000 berths and full supporting facilities. There's also a commercial port handling cargoes including granite, wood, fertilizers, salt and animal feed and a fishing port which, together with neighbouring Cancale, receives 4,000 tonnes of fish a year.
