Location: Skutskar is located on the E coast of Sweden, 6nm ESE of Gavle, in the Gulf of Bothnia. General overview: A small but well sheltered harbour. Principal exports are resin, oil, pulp and timber goods, while imports include electrolysis salt, oil and sulphur. The harbour is usually closed on account of ice from the beginning of Jan until the beginning of Apr. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Max draught 7.2m.
