General Description

Location: Seria is located 8nm ENE of Kuala Belait. General overview: An open sea berth port used specifically for crude oil and condensate loading. Two single buoy moorings (SBM's) are located approx 6nm from the shore. SBM 1 04°42.83'N 114°18.90'E SBM 2 04°42.83'N 114°19.75'E Traffic figures: Approx 180 vessels visit the port annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: Vessels up to 320,000DWT (min size 30,000DWT). SBM 1: Max draught 16.8m, BCM 170m. SBM 2: Max draught 15.85m, BCM 150m. Ships may always load to these draughts, subject to prevailing sea and swell conditions and maintain UKC of 1.2m at all times. Draughts may be increased at the discretion of Brunei Shell Petroleum if tide and weather conditions are suitable. CBT vessels are not acceptable at Seria Terminal. OBO's are acceptable provided the terminal criteria are met.
