Location: Petit-Couronne is a port area on the banks of the Seine, just 4 miles (6.4 km) S of the centre of Rouen in the Normandy region in N France.
General overview: Petit Couronne is a port area of Rouen. 20 hectares are available for the development of industrial and service port activities either independently or in connection with operators already present : Beuzelin, Guy Dauphin Environnement, Surveyfert. The Port of Rouen’s Flour Terminal of Petit-Couronne has a quay of 630 meters with alongside depth of 10.5 meters and includes two warehouses of 4.2 thousand square meters. The terminal supports the transport of bags of flour to/from barges, trains, and ships.
From upstream to downstream 3 berths:
-Berth 1 (Bollard 1 to 9 ) - Beuzelin (grains) : 10.30 m.
-Berth 2 (Bollard 10 to 21) - Bolloré Ports: 10.30 m; Mobile Crane (100t ), 2 frontloaders.
-Berth 3 (Bollard 22 to 30) - Surveyfert: : 10.30 m; 2 Mobile Cranes (15/45t).
Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.
