The shipping platform

Location: Isthmia is situated at the SE end of the Corinth Canal to the E of the entrance, approx 30nm W of Athens. General overview: Isthmia is a small artificial harbour fronting the town of Isthmia and forming the SE entrance of Dhiorix Korinthou, mainly used by the craft of the Canal Authorities. There are general depths of 6.5m within the harbour. Mainly small commercial vessels carrying dry bulk and breakbulk cargo are handled; there are also facilities for leisure, fishing and repair. There are no berths at Isthmia. They are located in Sousakion at private factory pier. There is also no cargo equipment so loading/discharging is done by vessel's gear. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: Draught 4.0m.
