General Description
Location: Dongying port is located a 122nm W of Longkou port. General overview: The port, recently taken over by CNOOC, was built in 1997 and now has 14 berths with plans to expand the port to include 2 x 5,000t, 2 x 10,000t, 2 x 20,000t, 2 x 30,000t multipurpose docks, 2 x 50,000t oil docks and 2 x 10,000t liquid chemical docks. The first phase of the project to construct 2 x 30,000t deepwater docks is operational.
