General Description
Location: Cres Port is situated on the North-Western coast of the island of Cres, in the Northern part of the Adriatic Sea.
General overview: It is a medium-sized port that is accessible to vessels of moderate size and is a busy fishing port with floating drydock facilities. There are regular local ferry services.
The Port of Cres lies well protected in a bay in which a speed limit of 5 knots prevails. The inner harbor is only available to locals. At the western pier of the city port are about 10 mooring places with electricity and water connection for yachts up to a depth of 4m. Additional moorings can be set at the shipyard, directly to the east of the harbor. The breakwater and the northern quay in summer are reserved for cruise ships. The inner sector is fully occupied by locals.
