The shipping platform

Location: Achladi is situated on the E coast of the Greek mainland, approx 75nm NW of Athens. General overview: Achladi port is a new construction belonging to the factory of Agroinvest S.A. It is a private berth about 200 m. in length standing about 3 m. above sea level and is well protected by rubber fenders. It was constructed in order to serve factory for loading and/or discharging their products, such as animal food, flour, wheat, maize, etc. The harbour is 1nm ENE of the town and marina. There is a flat silo of 40,000 tonnes capacity and a grain silo of 100,000 tonnes capacity with a travelling shiploader/unloader of 500 t.p.h. for loading, and 600 t.p.h. for unloading. Total length of berth: 205,50 meters Pneumatic equipment: Discharging / Loading up to 600 MT / hour Port crane: Discharging / Loading up to 300 MT / hour Traffic figures: Approx 72 vessels and 300,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: Max LOA 240m; beam 50m; draught 18.0m; 100,000DWT.
