General Description
Location: Acajutla Offshore Terminal, also known as (El Paso Terminal), located approx 1.9km WNW of Acajutla port on the Pacific coast of El Salvador. General overview: The five point CBM is located at 13°35'N 089°52'W. The water depth at the mooring is 17.5m with the subsea PLEM top elevation of 16.2m. The PLEM is marked with a white buoy attached to the SW corner of the PLEM. Additionally, it is marked by a spar buoy indicating the current condition directly over the PLEM. Dual subsea pipelines of 18in and 12in diameter for heavy fuel oil and diesel/aviation fuels respectively run from the PLEM to shore in a SE'ly direction to onshore storage tank facilities. Each line is clearly identified with markings on the hose buoys and flanges of the respective hose strings. Load line zone: North Atlantic Seasonal Tropical Area, Tropical Nov 1 to Jul 15, Summer Jul 16 to Oct 31. Max size: Max LOA 231m, draught 12.8m, 60,000DWT.
