General Description
Location: The port of Santarem is situated on the S bank of the Tapajos River near the confluence with the Amazon, upriver from the city of Santarem, 516nm from the port of Belem.
General overview: The port mainly handles general cargo, grain, food and fuel. Exports are grain and wood. The port has 8 berths (Pier, Fluvial Pier, Solid Bulk Terminal, 3 Liquid Bulk Terminals, Ro/Ro ramp)

- Pier 100 (General Cargo and Solid Bulk) // 2 Berths
- Mooring Dolphins (For Solid Bulk operations)
- Fluvial Pier (For Passengers and General load)
- Cargill Santarem Grain Terminal (374m Length)
The terminal mainly handles grains, soy and corn in bulk using 3 Ship Loaders and a Conveyor system (from silos and barges).
