General Description

Location: Qalhat LNG Terminal is located on Oman's NE coast approx 75nm SE of Muscat and 12nm from Ras Al Hadd. General overview: Qalhat Marine Terminal, operated by Oman LNG LLC, has two T-jetties for the export of LNG and NGL (condensate). A separate fertiliser facility at Sur, operated by Oman India Fertiliser Company SAOC, lies just SE of the LNG jetty. Traffic figures: Terminal used by 123 vessels annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: LNG berth: LOA 310m, draught 12.1m and 125,000DWT. MOF (Condensate) berth: LOA 140m draught 7.7m and 13,000DWT. Tankers: Displacement 13,000 tonnes, LOA 140 m., draft 7.7 m. Gas: Displacement 143,400 tonnes, LOA 315 m., draft 12.1 m. The largest vessel called at the port: LOA: 300 m, draught: 10.3 m, deadweight: 96,000 t.
