General Description
Location: Port Gentil (also known as Mandji) is situated on the SW side of Baie du Cap Lopez.
General overview: Operated by Portek International of Singapore it has general, bulk cargo and oil facilities. It is the only port on the Gabon coast with a bunkering service. Fresh water and provisions are available.

Exports include logs, plywood, palm oil, and petroleum.
Imports include general cargo, and petroleum products.
Load line zone: Tropical.
Port Gentil includes a main quay of 241 meters and a river quay of 150 meters. It contains sheds covering 4.1 thousand square meters and warehouse space of 6.3 thousand square meters. Since 1986, the Oil Terminal of Port Gentil has three quays serving petroleum vessels.
There is no shore crane in the port, vessel's crane is to be used.
Transit with IMO 1 onboard: Port Gentil can be called with IMO Class 1 transit on board, it has to be declared for the port authorities.
