Location: The Port of Molde is situated in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, lies along the Moldefjorden and the river Molde.
General overview: The Port of Molde boasts a wide and deep entrance with a good anchorage, and the entrance depth varies from 27.4-36.6m. The port remains open throughout the year and is known mainly for cruise ships. It has one dock for passenger ships and another for dry cargo and container ships.
Additionally, the port includes one berth for general cargo and bulk carriers, with a draft of 14 meters, a Ro/Rp berth that is 15 meters wide and has a draft of 6 meters, and a container ship berth shared with the general cargo ship berth.
The port's main exports are fish and fish products, while its main imports include iron, machinery, and food.
