General Description
Location: The port is located, on the NW part of Fethiye Bay on Turkey's Mediterranean coast approx 100km ENE of the Greek island of Rhodes. General overview: The port of Gocek is sheltered from all winds and swells. There are numerous berths for pleasure and fishing craft. The area is considered a tourist resort. Some of the berths have piers protruding 20-30m from the shore into the bay. However, these do not obstruct navigation and manoeuvring. Chrome Ore is loaded from the main berth. Load line zone: Summer. Max size: Draught:10.0m.
