General Description
Location: The Port of Fukui is situated on the Sea of Japan in Fukui prefecture, Honshu.
General overview: The Port of Fukui is consindered a hub for logistics. It handles almost 2 million tons of cargo per year with 80% of the gasoline used in the Prefecture coming from the port.
Fukui consists of 5 wharves for handling general cargoes and 3 dolphins handling petrochemical commodities (Operated by Hokuriku Electric Power and JOGMEC) which can accommodate vessels up to 300,000DWT.

Customs and Immigration clearance must be obtained from Fukui or Tsuruga port.
